Terms of Use

The Notice Board is a directory. It lists African businesses by category and place, and lets buyers reach a business owner directly on WhatsApp, by phone or by email. We connect people. We are not a party to anything agreed between a buyer and a business afterwards.

When you register, you confirm the details you give us are accurate and that you have the right to represent the business. One account per business. Keep your password to yourself.

Your listing goes live immediately. You can edit it, add photos, or delete your account at any time from Settings.

Some listings are added by our team from a spreadsheet supplied by a partner organisation, on behalf of businesses who have not registered directly. If your business appears this way and the details are wrong, or you would like the listing removed, contact us and we will fix it.

• List anything illegal, or a business you don't own or represent.
• Impersonate another business or person.
• Copy, scrape or resell the directory's data in bulk.
• Use the directory to send unsolicited bulk messages.

You own your business description, photos and details. Registering gives us permission to show them in the directory and in search results. Nothing more.

Messages, calls and payments happen directly between a buyer and a business, outside this platform, once contact is made. We don't see the conversation, hold funds, or guarantee the quality, safety or legality of anything offered. Deal with the same care you would use meeting anyone new.

We can hide or remove a listing that breaks these terms, misrepresents a business, or is reported to us as false. We will try to tell you why.

We may update these terms as the platform grows. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with a new date at the top.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
